2. Description of Services
Clear Home Crew provides residential home renovation, remodeling, and related services across the United States, including but not limited to: interior design, exterior renovations, home and fire security installations, roofing, solar energy systems, window replacement, flooring installation, and bathroom remodeling. All services are subject to availability and geographic coverage.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a legal homeowner or authorized property representative to use our services. By submitting a booking or signing a contract, you represent that you have full legal authority to bind the property owner to these terms.
4. Quotes, Estimates, and Pricing
- Free Estimates: Initial consultations and rough estimates are provided free of charge
- Fixed-Price Quotes: Detailed quotes are valid for 30 days from issuance and include labor, materials, permits, and disposal
- Change Orders: Any changes to the original scope after contract signing require written approval and may affect pricing and timeline
- Deposits: A 30% deposit is required to secure scheduling; balance is payable in installments tied to project milestones
5. Contracts and Project Scope
All projects require a signed contract detailing scope, materials, timeline, payment schedule, and warranty terms. The contract constitutes the entire agreement between parties. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason, including safety concerns or scope incompatibility.
6. Timelines and Delays
Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith. Delays due to force majeure events (weather, supply chain disruptions, pandemics, acts of God, permit delays beyond our control) may extend timelines without penalty. We will communicate any delays promptly and provide revised schedules.
7. Warranty
- Workmanship: 10-year warranty on all installation labor
- Materials: Manufacturer warranties apply (typically 20–50 years on roofing, solar, and windows)
- Exclusions: Damage from misuse, natural disasters, unauthorized modifications, or lack of maintenance is not covered
- Transferability: Warranties transfer to new homeowners upon property sale with proper documentation
8. Payment Terms
We accept major credit cards, ACH transfers, checks, and approved financing. Late payments incur 1.5% monthly interest. Work may be suspended for accounts overdue by more than 15 days. Mechanics lien rights are preserved where applicable by state law.
9. Permits and Compliance
Clear Home Crew handles all required permits and ensures work complies with local, state, and federal building codes. Property owners are responsible for HOA approvals where applicable. We do not guarantee specific permit approval timelines from municipalities.
10. Client Responsibilities
Clients must:
- Provide accurate project information and property access
- Secure pets and protect valuables in work zones
- Make timely selections and approvals to avoid delays
- Maintain clear communication channels with the project manager
- Obtain necessary HOA approvals prior to work commencement
11. Intellectual Property
All content on our website (text, images, logos, designs, 3D renderings) is owned by Clear Home Crew or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other IP laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Custom designs created for your project become your property upon full payment.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clear Home Crew shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clear Home Crew, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of services, or violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Termination
Either party may terminate a project contract with 14 days written notice. Client-initiated termination requires payment for all work completed and materials procured. Clear Home Crew may terminate immediately for non-payment, safety violations, or client misconduct.
15. Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules in the state where services were performed. Class action waivers apply where permitted by law.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in state or federal courts located in Alaska.
17. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting to our website. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Major changes will be communicated via email to active clients.
18. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Invalid provisions shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make them valid and enforceable.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with any signed project contract and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Clear Home Crew regarding the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
